My doctor recommended that I cut dairy out of my sons diet due to his poor liver function.
The problem is that he is not willing to even try soymilk, I don't know what to do? Does anyone have any suggestions?

I would recommend that you start incorporating soymilk into your cooking - instead of using regular milk or cream, use soy milk. This can help disguise the taste the soy milk for fussy kids. When I first started drinking soy milk i mixed half regular milk and half soymilk and gradually started increasing the amount of soy.

I definitely agree with introducing the soy into omelettes or scrambled eggs etc. That way he/she may not know the difference. As for me, I prefer the Vitasoy rice milk in my cereal than the red soy. Or try the light blue. How about making a delicious rice milk or soymilk shake. Hope this helps a little.

Our son was fortunate enough not to have ever developed a taste for cows milk, however it was important for us friends and family would enjoy the same food as him. Our whole family follows the same diet.
We use "Soy Milky" for all cooking. It makes delicious custard, mashed potatoes with nutalex as butter Substitute.
So Good ice cream also is consumed by visitors without complaint and some times without even being noticed...

Wishing you all the best.

You can go with a gradual change. Add little bits of soy milk into everyday foods until he is used to the taste.
An advice from an online chemist is well worth it.
