Incorporate soy into your diet / Re: True or False
« Last post by abbirodrigez on January 11, 2012, 04:10:22 PM »
I have been a soy drinker for years and recently had a few lady organ problems..
Many of my friends have told me to slow down or cut out soy milk because it won't be doing me any favors in that area. I have heard that soy contains oestrogen too ?

Can you please help my worried mind..

Too much of a good thing is bad. Maybe it's not just soy milk, but soy in general. Take the time to examine your daily intake of soy; maybe your intake is well above the daily recommendation.

Soy milk for health and well being / Why I eat soya products
« Last post by backdouk on December 01, 2011, 02:04:37 AM »
I have eaten soy products and drunk soya milk for thirty years. I spent many years dairy free but now I do eat some dairy. I like soya mainly because it is so digestible. When I eat too much dairy I feel clogged up and generally do not function so well.

Children and soymilk / Lunch box sizes for kids
« Last post by Suepoo on November 04, 2011, 04:55:56 PM »
Hi -  my son loves drinking vitasoy calci-plus.  At the moment the only brand I can find for his lunch box is So Good and he doesn't really like it unless it is the chocolate flavoured one which I'm not keen on giving him due to his hyperactivity after consuming sweet things like that.

Any chance that the company can produce something like that? In a six pack for example?  That would be wonderful.

Also I've noticed in the last two weeks both my local Coles supermarkets (Melbourne) have completely run out the fresh Vita-soy products.  When I asked about when they would be getting some in I was told they had no idea either.  Is something going on with supply?

Cheers  :D

Soy milk for health and well being / Opening and Pouring Vitasoy
« Last post by jonm on October 03, 2011, 12:01:25 PM »
Hello,

Since you have a forum, I thought i would let you know that the packaging of Vitasoy is terrible. I prefer it to other brands, but...

1. The top is difficult to twist off.
2. When finally get a grip on the tiny tiny pull ring, it is difficult to pull off and when it does come off, the soy milk invariably splashes out.
3. The pouring hole is so small that the milk sploshes about and slurps and spills.

I like vitasoy and the price point is right but I am currently drinking another brand with a simple twist cap because I find the opening/pouring of vitasoy messy and annoying.

Thanks, I hope you take it on board.
Jon
