I have represented Australia for over twelve years at the highest level including the Olympic and Commonwealth Games, and at seven World Championships.
During my competitive career, I managed to achieve five consecutive years of solid dominance in Australia, holding the Australian 100m- sprint record from 1998-2003, and winning 5 national 100m titles back to back.
I won my first international medal at the 1998 Commonwealth Games competing in the relay. At the same Commonwealth games I placed fourth in the 100m in the fastest time by an Australian at any major championship, 10.03 seconds. I also won medals in the 2001 World Championships and the 2001 Goodwill Games in Brisbane.
Since retiring from competitive athletics, my focus has turned to other endeavours, including hosting Channel 7's science and technology show, ‘Beyond Tomorrow', for which I received a Logie nomination.
I then signed a contract with Foxtel in 2008 to be part of their Olympic and Commonwealth Games broadcast team. At present you'll catch me reading the Sports news on Sky News Australia.
In addition; I have also developed a successful fitness business catering for a large range of clients, focusing on areas such as general fitness and weight management, right up to elite performance.
